New Glenn? I know he named it after our pioneering astronauts but sounds like a deodorant. He could have thought of a better name for it at least...

Alan Shepard => flew first suborbital flight => New Shepard suborbital rocket

John Glenn => flew first orbital flight => New Glenn orbital rocket

Neil Armstrong => first man on Moon => New Armstrong moon rocket (upcoming)

No idea who he's going to name the first Mars rocket after.

Yes, I know who he named them after, but they are still terrible names for rockets...

I was just pointing out WHY he named them after those particular people, rather than who they were - we all know their names.

I feel that in a way, Bezos is treading on NASA's sacred ground by appropriating the names of famous American icons for his own line of rockets.

But it's an insight into how he thinks - he's looking at various thresholds of capability.

Space exploration is a scam.

Stop wasting money trying to invade the holy sanctuary of the lamb of Christ!
