Was there never a Biggie Bangie?

So, in your humble opinion, how did everything "begin"?
What started the whole ball of wax?
How did everything we perceive and know come into existence?

If the BB theory is "wrong", what do you think is "right"?

(why do I feel like I'm wasting my time asking...)

Mot knowing doesn't make the Biggie Bangie true, of course, that would be ridiculoous.

But then, why do people believe in the Big Bang?

Did the Big Bang ever happen???

Of course not. It is a fairy take for grownups!!

But why do people still believe this utter nonsense?

You really need to up your game. Ever hear of posting some supporting evidence? Hint, it's out there.

But seriously, are there still people who take the Biggie Bangie seriously? and if so, why?

1. Yes
2. Because there's pretty strong scientific evidence that it happened.

Your arguments are terrible. "How can anyone believe in this?" is not a refutation.

Long live Zoobat.

I remember one time I found a shiny Zubat. I tried to catch it, but I ran out of Great Balls. Needless to say I was pissed. But I found a shiny Ghastly later on, so whatever.

There are some credible scientists out there who question the BB model. But, I'm not sure Pin can figure out how to compose an argument around their findings. And, I sure as hell do not intend to help him.

The question isnt can he figure out how to compose an argument but does he want to.

You dont know what it is. You dont know what it was. You dont know how it came about. You dont know the source of energy. You dont know how the elements came to in existence. You cant explain the sudden appearance of a cup of dirt, let alone the raw materials to form an ever expanding galaxy. BUT...you believe it. Fervently.

I'm cool with that. I like faith based people.

I actually do understand how matter can come from energy. That much, at least, has been shown to be possible in the big accelerator at CERN. But, what is much more murky is this notion that physics breaks down at the singularity. It's the primary reason, among other things, that so many scientists have not yet completely bought into the theory.

Actually. that IS TRUE!

Mr. Hicks appears to be eating a pencil.

You can reverse engineer a lot of things with what we have as 'knowns'. We cant get around the fact that there are a-a ton of unknowns without current explanation and b-a bunch of people crowing about people fo faith derisively without being smart enough to recognize they are doing the exact same thing.

Well. let's see.

A bunch of evidence eh?

Errrrrrrrrrrrrr exactly what exploded? And , as someone here asked before, were
was the energy coming from?

That scientist believe in fairy tales , like the big bang is not a very strong point to me.
That is just the logical fallacy of "appeal to authority".

I need arguments and some sort of evidence.

They can have lots of fibre

They can. I hope it's a number 4. If it is, I don't know where he found one with an eraser on it. But if it is a number 4, I hope he enjoys his ride to the hospital. That's some hard lead there.

It didn't really "explode," it just popped into our space and time dimensions.

Where it came from? That's easy. Somewhere else.

And for some reason, you just assume nobody else could possibly know any of these things. I don't like some faith-based people, because they resist even asking those questions in the first place.

Look how cute you are in your special butthurt pajamas....

Do YOU 'KNOW' those things? A simple yes or no will suffice.

Yes.

If you want to play silly games with the word "know," I'll merely point out that you don't actually know whether you really exist.

As for "butthurt," that's your ridiculous partisan blinders playing with your perceptions again. That "butthurt" you see? That was ridicule. I was ridiculing you. You don't know, because you never bothered to learn. Me? I learned.

SUUUUUUUUURE you do. You have the knowledge that the rest of the scientific world is still theorizing and agonizing over...and then you want to talk about silly word games and the word know'?

:lamo

You 'know' precisely dick. You have 'faith'. And thats OK. Like I said...I love a good 'believer'.

We know what happened. It's a matter of how that remains to be discovered.

You...no....wait...OTHERS theorize about what happened and attempt to discover what it was that actually happened, how, and why. But they dont 'know' what happened, and neither do you. You arent even honest enough to admit that. Thats..sad, really.
