Intelligent Design Proposes that God has an Ego[W24]

Sure, but does God possess ego?
Ego doesn't exist. It's a human made construct to describe something intangible. Since it is a human form, i have to say no, God does not possess an ego.

I would say this is correct. the bible describes God attributes and ego is not one of them.

Okay; you can't elaborate.

Sure, that explains it.

It's not that the answer is common knowledge, nor that it is widely available on the internet.

It's that I can't elaborate.

You gave an opinion and you cannot elaborate for the purposes of discussion so your assertion that ego does not exist is empty.

Ego describes something about human behavior that I have asserted is "written into God's word". Therefore, if God's punitive word is indeed fact; as the three major religions tell us, then - as written - God indeed possesses - ego.

Please credibly refute that.

''Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.

The scientists’ religious feeling takes the form of a rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection.''

– Albert Einstein

What are you talking about?

My assertion was that ego doesn't mean what you seem to think it means. It's not an even an opinion. It's a simple fact. You are using the term ego in ways that show you don't know what it even means.

Ego describes something about human behavior that I have asserted is "written into God's word". Therefore, if God's punitive word is indeed fact; as the three major religions tell us, then - as written - God indeed possesses - ego.

Neither does punitive mean what you seem to think it means.
