Hello!!

What are you thinking about the fact, that religion can be seen as something that is somewhere in our believes, but this belevies are not always taken into conmsideration in reality??

Because, for instance, you can be the Christian, but not every Christian has the answer to real world's cicumstances that he or she is in.

What's your opinion??

Danuta

Beliefs are only meaningful if they have utility to the holder of the belief. If they are not taken into consideration in reality, it is because the person sees no utility in that. Has nothing to do with religion. It is just human nature.

My understanding is that "belief" is for those who fail to go any farther.

I do not really have a belief in God because I know that God is real and active, and I do know because I did the homework and the research as in seeking that truth and finding it.

A person who just believes is a person in doubt who does not know.

Belief might be faith but it is far from being a reality until one digs into their own belief to determine whether it is true or not.

Most people believe what they are told because they do not seek the truth for their self.

Does anyone have the real answer - regardless if they believe or not?

Do atheists and non-christians have the answer? No.

No one have the answer because, reality-wise - in the end, we don't have full control.
We just have to keep that in mind. And we believers must humbly accept that.

The serenity prayer comes to mind.

God, give me grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.

Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as Jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.

Amen.

Amazingly, surrendering to God's will brings freedom.

Just because you surrender and you do not have the answer then that does not speak for me.

I explained this in comment #3 in that I did the homework and the research and so I do know.

You're right. I don't speak for everyone. I didn't read post #3.

I was thinking of questions people tend to ask: why do bad things happen? Even to good people?
