Would Jesus ever condone--brother in Christ vs brother in Christ?

????
WTF?

When and where did you get taught God compartmentalizes?

There is no Biblical call against murder. Not one word.

The commandment reads "Thou shalt not KILL"

Those in the American far right who claim the righteousness of God in their petty political wars over oil, I suspect are going to have some 'splaining to do, along with the insane Popes who decided to kill every ****ing Arab on the planet in order to have the "Holy Land" to themselves, excluding Judiasm, which was Jesus' faith. Jesus NEVER "converted" to anything, he obeyed all Jewish law and observed the sabbath. And He died for ALL, including Arab souls OK?

I really do wish people would at east check the Bible before all the false prophesy and such.

if that is the case then why did God call Israel to destroy all of their neighbors if that was the case?
you can't be consistent in your argument and say God says not to kill but had no problem with Israel wiping out the Canaanites all over the place.

Thou shalt not kill is better translated Thou shalt not murder. IE the taking of innocent life by another. it says nothing about going to war.

the rest is a strawman and has nothing to do with what I said.
yes you do need to check the bible and see what it says.

Actually the crusades were to take the holy land back from arab invasion. although it would take till after WWII to actually do it.

Matthew 19
The Rich and the Kingdom of God

16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”

17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

18 “Which ones?” he inquired.

Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’[c] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”

Romans 13
9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,”[a] and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[

Exodus 20
13 “You shall not murder.

First of all, there is no contradiction. "Thou shalt not kill" is from the old King James Bible. Modern translations (ESV, NASB, NCV, NIV, NKJV, NLT, NRSV) have it as "You shall not murder." The word in the Hebrew for "kill" here in Exodus 20:13 is תִּרְצָח (ratsach). It is translated into the English many different ways--depending on the context: "slayer 16, murderer 14, kill 5, murder 3, slain 3, manslayer 2, killing 1, slayer + 310 1, slayeth 1, death 1." 1

Murder is the unlawful taking of life. Killing is the lawful taking of life. God has said, "You shall not murder" not "You shall not kill." After all, God says killing in self-defense is justifiable.
Exodus 22:2, "If the thief is caught while breaking in, and is struck so that he dies, there will be no bloodguiltiness on his account."

If mere killing of any kind was the issue, then why would God saying killing in self-defense is permissible? He wouldn't. This is another reason that modern translations say, "You shall not murder."

Also, consider that the New Testament quotes Exodus 20:13 in Rom. 13:9 as "You shall not murder."

The word in Greek for murder here is φονεύω, (phoneuo). Matt. 10:28 says, "“And do not fear those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
The word of kill here is apoktinumi. Let's compare. (more)

yep newer versions have changed it to murder which is what the word means but people still say kill since that is how they were taught but it means the same thing.

With guns in their hands?never. Only the darkness participated in the rev war--the civil war--ww1,ww2--millions upon millions of human being lives slaughtered because their leaders were this-2Peter 2:19-- and family lines cut off as well.--- how can any servant of Jesus believe it was ok?

Jesus real teachers stood up for Jesus and apply his teachings 24/7-365--no matter what, men, family or govts say. Fear of men prevent it.

Its not an iota different than certain muslim teachers saying its ok to go kill. Or the darkness all saw in Ireland.( same exact actions with bombings of innocents by those professing to be servants of Jesus) 99% being mislead--because they are too lazy to bother learning and applying Jesus' truths. these are not taught in churches. God warned all of you---GET OUT OF HER.

You think this will be a perfect world ahead of the Second Coming? You guys better review the prophecy - you're getting way ahead. War is just part of the decay in this fallen world. The end for all wars is coming.
When? We do not know.

Micah 4

The Mountain of the Lord

4 In the last days
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
and peoples will stream to it.

2 Many nations will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

3
He will judge between many peoples
and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.

Would Jesus ever condone brothers in Christ vs brothers in Christ

And while you're on that subject - perhaps you should reconsider against baiting other Christians into an endless argumentation....after all, all your arguments for the last three topics you've created practically boil down to the same thing: "your JW teachers are right, and non-JW teachers are all wrong."

So, would Jesus ever condone - brothers in Christ vs brothers in Christ?

Apparently not.

2 Tim 2

Dealing With False Teachers

14 Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen.

16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.
17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene.
Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.

24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,

Titus 3
9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

Btw, wars usually start with minor things. Probably a few started with slander, or defamation.

So go and pray for more water boarding if you are so sure God wants the American Military Industrial Complex if you interpret THAT as Jesus blessing America's war record.

BTW, NVS and NIV quote "you shall not kill..."

Let me post my replies to Kjw47 again:

Not all wars being waged are justifiable. Not that I'm saying the war on Iraq is not.

But it's not for me to say if it is or not, since I don't know all the ACCURATE details about the politics - everything I know is based on what I get from the news.

And I'm sure the soldiers who fought the wars don't know much other than what they're told....they just follow orders. Of course, they know they're doing the good deed.

What we know is that the leader(s) - just like the kings - will be the ones held accountable if ever they go against what's righteous in the eyes of God.

It will be God who'll judge them - not you, or your teachers!

Gods word has already judged.

Here you go--God was clear on the matter--2Peter 2:19--- these are the men sending young men and women to die at war. It teaches--- they promise you freedom( govts) yet themselves are slaves to corruption( depravity).

Babylon the great( false religions)
committing fornication with the kings( govts) of the earth is:

Voting for corrupt politicians-2Peter 2:19
supporting corrupt politicians( patriotism)
running as a corrupt politician
killing for corrupt politicians

2+2 always = 4

Oil men were in power in the usa-Bush-Cheney and cronies-- oil 30 a barrel until 9/11 occurred--within 3 or 4 months lifetimes of gathered wealth in those families quadrupled in that short period. it hit 145 a barrel quickly---2+2=4

It is so sad the rose colored glasses caused by this-2Cor 4:4
