DO Animals have Souls?

I still think it's clear that dogs, as well as other animals, are atheist, so why would they go to heaven?

They lack the mental faculties to even conceive a deity, so why would they go to hell? A dog is no different than a severely mentally handicapped human, and I don't imagine you believe those people go to hell, do you?

I don't believe in hell, so no. I just don't understand how Christians justify other animals going to heaven.

Why wouldn't they? Is a mentally handicapped person prohibited from ever entering heaven? There are undoubtedly animals smarter than some humans.

Depends on which Christian you're talking to really. Some feel no one can get until heaven until they are baptized. I'm curious though, do you think ALL animals will go to heaven?

Of course animals have souls, but it is of a very different kind than a human soul.

Do you enjoy displaying your lack of basic knowledge of metaphysics? Does the existence of a three-legged dog make the form of a dog no longer to be four-legged, even of that one particular dog with three legs?
