Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect me?

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

1.)Wrongo, kiddo, it is you and others like you who are PUSHING your beliefs on me, and now it's personal. I really don't care aout those other religions, they don't affect me.
2.)And you want to force that on me, you've brought it into my back yard and into my Church, even as you erroneously claim that it is I who is "pushing my religion". I was minding my own business when this came up, but now it's MY issue, and you want to claim that it doesn't affect me???
3.)I say it is YOU that have no stake in this, you are just jumping on a political bandwagon and you don't give a damn about who is run over by it, and your excuse is that "they are pushing their religion".

1.) there is nobody honest, educated and objective that will ever buy that fallacy
2.) its not a claim it still factually has no effect on you.
3.) nobody is getting run over lol

it be nice if you could bring one FACT to the table that makes your claim true.

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

That is a two way street. You are an anti religious zealot when you don't agree with the religion. My religion says two men or two women can marry each other.

Maybe it's time for you people to man up and move along.

If you're a christian that believes that the bible is the inspired Word of God ... then no, you're religion does NOT say that ... we've been through this before, and you're entire argument was just "I don't read greek" :p

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

Why would a church paying taxes prevent people from telling them to sit down and shut up?

If the Westboro Baptists had to start paying taxes do you honestly think that would legitimize their message and prevent people from telling them to go pack sand?

In more missing the point news, it's because you can't tell taxpayers what to think and how to vote, but I am sure you'll try.

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

Whatever you think of my ideology you can not deny that all rights movements get out of control at some point.

I do not see any evidence that even the one you are talking about is true. It is one big whine from someone who is upset that other people aren't being discriminated against, but ' out of control'.. no.

:lamo

That's EXACTLY what churches and pastors do every damn Sunday.
Not to mention you appear to be rife with lust when it comes to telling tax payers what they should and shouldn't do.
Maybe not so much the voting part, but definitely the thinking part.

Gotta love the irony of that comment.

Really?

Feminist movement = changing and or replacing male culture(it depends on group/person) special treatment including such things as breast pump rooms, free birth control, mandated coverage of abortion, mandated coverage of contraception, forced equal pay based on gender(it is already equal but they still want to force employers to give them equal pay)

Civil rights movement = 1964 civil rights bill(the anti-discrimination parts which is ironically slavery), affirmative action

Gay rights movement = expansion of anti-discrimination laws.

This might surprise you but you do not have a right to slaves and all of the above movements believe in slavery.

You listed some things, then whined about stuff.. You have not shown 'affirmative action' is gone to far, nor that the anti-discrimination law expastiuon is bad . It might be your opinion, but it is an unsupported claim.

I think Henrin just wants a private place where he can pump his breasts.

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

As if you would know.

Okay, I'll bite, tell me how it doesn't affect me, I'll wait.

your not forced to hold religious ceremony's against your will?

I am a Christian, and yes it does. We haven't established anything. You are intolerant of different biblical interpretations, that is really all you have been through.

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

Yes it does. :lamo

Ok, so where in the bible does it say two men or two women can marry each other? I'll wait..

It doesn't say you shouldn't. Just like it doesn't say you shouldn't own a car, or a rifle. Things not mentioned in the bible aren't therefore condemned. The bible makes no mention of many things in our life.

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

In your case I'm willing to make an exception - you can marry anybody of the same sex that you are you wish, and I'll even perform the ceremony. How's that grab you?

Re: Will someone remind me again how the elleged "Gay Rights" movement doesn't affect

City of Houston demands pastors turn over sermons | Fox News

"The city of Houston has issued subpoenas demanding a group of pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker, the city’s first openly lesbian mayor. And those ministers who fail to comply could be held in contempt of court."

No, this has no effect on me at all....

That's sort of unconstitutional; but of course - only in Texas, where the constitution lives and breaths according to what conservatives want it to say.

I'll be waiting with bated breath.

I'm tolerant of biblical interpretation's that don't rely on ignorance of the text ...

I'm intolerant of ignorant arrogance .... like claiming the text says something it literally doesn't.

Just another way of saying that if somebody doesn't agree with you they are wrong.

I'm intolerant of ignorant arrogance .... like claiming the text says something it literally doesn't.
You need to get on the other posters than.

I don't agree with you. When you demand that the bible means what you say it means. I am not going to affirm your beliefs. And since that is really all you are after there is no reason to engage you in it again.

You call disagreement with you ignorance of text. Congratulations you shut down discussion in one post.

1. No, it's a way of saying interpretations that totally ignore the text itself arn't interpretations.

2. I do.

3. Nope, back in the arsenokoitai and malekoi debates, youre ENTIRE argumetn was basically that you can't read greek ... so no evidence in greek would convince you, even though the argument was over translation of 2 Words.

You jumped to the conclusion that I am ignorant before you even spoke to me because I don't agree with you.

You are a liar, all you want is affirmation through agreement.

The entire discussion was that you don't agree with me so I must be wrong.

You throw a fit because I don't agree. Grow up than maybe you can have this discussion.
