I was very sceptical of Pope Francis at first, but I've grown to respect him a great deal.

What are your thoughts on him?

He seems like an ok guy, but he's got too big a microphone. Jesus didn't address the political issues of the day, and the pope should stick to leading his church. It's not entirely his fault, when the press agrees with him, they trumpet what he says, and then later we find out it was a mis-translation.

He's a very good Pope.

He's talked more about Hell and the devil than any other recent Pope.

He sent two doves flying for peace at lent--two giant birds swooped down out of the sky and killed both of them--I think God was showing what he thinks.

Of what? The likelihood of human nature changing? Or was this one of those "Man proposes; God disposes" incidents? Or a sign of the fall of Babylon?

He is so much better than the last one. As far as Popes go, he seems to truly want to minister to those in need, and lives his life that way.

That is right around the corner

It's a sign that someone is on something.

Really, is that how God speaks? through petty bird play?

a warning---GET OUT OF HER--

I don't think God makes warnings by using birds going after their Natural prey .... IF you want to look for nonsense signs, you'll find them anywhere.

except it was for peace in the Ukraine, the birds were not killed, and this is common action by sea gulls and crows....but other than that....

All isn't as appears in this world--its an illusion of satans-- The spirit world is in full control--both Good and bad.
Not that long ago--the pope allowed catholic young men to kill for a man named Adolf Hitler--Kill the members of their own religion standing on the otherside. And on top of that dragging Jesus name through the mud, clergy prayed on both sides to the same god, for the quick destruction of their own supposed brothers in Christ. the biggest hypocrisy the world has ever known. God warned all -- GET OUT OF HER.

What are you babbling about?

he seems to have taken the nice parts of his region to heart and is even pushing against some of the worst aspects of it

I'm not Catholic but I do like their new Pope. He seems very liberal minded, socially, (as far as Pope's go,) and Jesus-like.

I know a lot of Catholics that are just the opposite. Not sure how well he will be received by his own.

Why did God allow him to do that?

If God interfered with mans choices, it wouldn't be free will. Also-it exposed them for their darkness--a true brother in Christ would never stand on both sides of a war on the orders of men--you see if the clergy told the young men not to kill their brothers in Christ for Adolf Hitler, he wouldn't have had enough armies to attack anyone--thus no ww2.
I truly believe--clergy praying to the same God on both sides of a war for the quick destruction of the members of their own religions--is the biggest hipocrosy the world has ever seen.
This world lives an illusion of whats reality.

God had nothing to do with it. Hearts of hatred accomplished slaughtering one another all by themselves.

Seriously---Does a man of God have to hire a group of swiss killers for protection? Isnt that premeditated returning evil for evil? And a serious lack of faith being demonstrated to all creation.

I think you'll find it was a crow and a seagull (neither giant). And both doves survived.
