So, you don't have an answer. Typical. Recommend you not try, then, to be an advisor on Biblical matters.

You don't seem to know where reality occurs?

I probably know more about the bible than you. And I don't believe it's even remotely probable or realistic that it is without error.

Since my religion teaches me that nothing is eternal, everlasting damnation isn't one of my worries. That doesn't mean that hells cannot exist, just that in the absence of a creator god, and the impossibility of anything being forever, the question of who is going there seems of minor importance. Hells might exist, there might be hells on Earth, heck I've been to Coventry, Lucknow and Ankara, but an eternal fiery pit? Don't think so.

Nonsense. If you can't give an intelligent response to Daniel 12:2 you're just a rank novice when it comes to understanding the Bible.

Damn, Shrubby. Y
ou're probably headed for the emergency room with clogged arteries. Hope not.

Well, I appreciate the thought and no one knows what's coming up tomorrow, but so far I've had no problems with the ticker.

I take a brisk 5 K walk every day and I try to keep my weight down.

Knock on wood.

What's gonna happen is gonna happen. sooner or later everyone meets the grim reaper.

Unless you're an astronaut you can't get off of this planet alive.

If Jesus didn't control the men who wanted to kill him, why would god control every word of the bible, written by men? It's simply not all true, translated correctly or has human fallacy.

I would think God is into correcting His children, not permanent punishment for temporal crimes and mistakes?

Do you really want to see people go to hell, while you go to heaven? What about the part where all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God?

The teaching of a place of eternal suffering is not truth, in fact an impossibility.
Deuteronomy 32:4-- All of Gods ways are justice( uncorruptable) a balanced set of justice scales. ( An eye for an eye( ( meant--justice will prevail)

So for 70-90 years of unrepented sin God couldn't condemn someone to trillions x trillions x trillions, etc of never ending years of punishment--its impossible with his scales.
What it really is--- symbolism for the eternal value of what those are missing out on in Gods kingdom.
God is a merciful God--God is love.
The lake of fire= the second death( after the resurrection)

The Hebrew word-Sheol = the Greek word-Hades--the common grave. There is no life in death.

You were pretty sure of the Bible when you tried to explain sheol and the grave to the other poster. What happened since then?

Just because you get the answer you don't like, doesn't mean it's wrong.

Knowing the bible is knowing man, knowing your heart is knowing God.
