Name People You Believe Went To Hell

I wouldn't presume to make such an assertion about anyone at all. Someone Else makes that determination.

By far the best answer provided in this thread so far.

If there is a hell, Marquis de Sade.

Though... If we were to speculate :)lol:), I'd probably have to list people like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Aleister Crowley, L. Ron Hubbard, Jon Lennon, and Christopher Hitchens. They simply carried too much hatred for God and their fellow man for me to imagine them being able to pass through the pearly gates.

As Oftencold said, however; there's ultimately no way to really know.

Just because someone has not 'received Christ for salvation' doesn't mean he is a sinner, it means he doesn't believe in your religion.

Show me the perfect person who has never lied, cheated, or stolen, etc.?

All leaders of countries that declared war killing millions of innocents is tops on my list.
Serial killers is on my list as well.

If I had my way, none. None at all.

Think about it - if one believes in eternity, then one must believe in terms of billions, trillions, even quadrillions of years. Sounds silly...but eternity is by definition infinite. A googolplex of years is less than infinity. So at what point does one's punishment in hell go beyond the measure of one's crimes?

But I am not God (thank God!) - it is not up to me.

It goes to your statement "doesn't mean he is a sinner."

I guess it depends on your definition of sinner. Someone may be flawed, but to sin means they did it intentionally against a set of rules. In your definition, by a set of rules that not everyone agrees with by a religion they may not accept. ;)

A child tells a fib, so they will burn in your 'hell'?

Everybody has a conscience, and if they are honest with themselves they can look back and see where they've willfully done someone wrong.

Children aren't accounted as sinners until they're of age and know right and wrong. The Jews have a general age for that which is their Bar Mitzbah.

Accidentally does not equate to willfully. Someone can still regret an action without having accepted Jesus as their savior.

Back to the point of contention... John Lennon, singing songs of love and peace, is a sinner by your definition, because he hasn't accepted Jesus as his savior.

Would that make all his actions null and void? They have no value? What was your point?

Are the Wood Faeries socialist, what about The Fates?

The Fates are powers of nature. They are neither Socialist nor Democratic. They simply exist as the extension of the natural order of things. The fae exist in a much more Authoritarian or Monarchal society, from what little I've seen.

It's a sin to reject Christ. It's a sin to lust in one's heart after a married woman or man. The list of sins is endless.

As for Lennon, did you know he beat women, and emotionally abused his son?

It's a sin to 'reject' Christ in the Christian religion. If you don't agree with the religion, then you have committed no sin. ;)

As to beating his women, that's up for conjecture.

I'd submit that child rapists and molesters are on the express train to hell.

John Lennon was complete scum. Even if one ignores his many failings as a father, husband, and all around human being, he still bears a large part of the responsibility for spearheading the cultural and sexual "revolutions" of the 1960s.

He basically served as something of "Pied Piper" leading an entire generation of people into sin. I have absolutely no doubt that he would have to answer for that in the eyes of God.

Well, you can believe whatever you want on all that.

There's no evidence he, a sinner, ever received Christ for salvation. .

and considering this degree of hatred for those who do not deserve it, obviously neither have you.

Nonsense. The real losers are those who pat sinners on their backs while they're on the road to perdition, telling them they've done nothing wrong and don't need to repent and receive Christ for salvation. With friends like those, who needs enemies?

Haha, what? You're an incredibly funny person. It's like you believe that the entirety of Asia is a chaotic hell-bound mess with no laws, judicial courts and fines/jails, because they don't follow Jesus. You should really visit sometime. It'll open your mind a bit.

Why don't you read the Bible sometime, especially Romans chapters 1 and 2, which address your rant above?

I have. It was a step in my path to deconverting. It's a great book, if not violent and encouraging of divisiveness and conflict between friends.

I mean, it's certainly caused you to become an angry, hell-preaching Christian, screaming at your atheist "enemies" and others you decided to look down upon. Most other posters would treat you with some kindness and affection if it were not for your ranty abrasiveness. I mean, half of this thread is about how you hate all the other "sinner" and "loser" posters, and the thread will probably devolve into you passively aggressively attacking them with "I will pray for you" or "God still loves you" superiority.

If you ever do become an atheist, it will surely be for the better in terms of you being able to be nice to those pretend "sinner enemies" of yours.

Love speaks the truth. And the darkness hates it.

You're full of folly, brothern. The unregenerate heart despises the truth about Christ and heaven and hell, and hates those who bring it. They don't want to admit they're sinners who need a Savior.

What objectionable philosophy did he advocate precisely?

You mean other than his sympathies for Maoist Communism?

He advocated sexual promiscuity, drug usage, and anti-theism. Last time I checked, those were all rather "sinful" in the eyes of the almighty.

Some of us have seen what your God does (or doesn't) do for those who put their Faith in Him. Not all of us are willing to waste that time like others have.
