Maybe not, but it is an instance of papal infallibility when the Holy Father tells us that the Church that the message of love and the salvific power of Christ take priority over the proclamation of rules. It is an instance of papal infallibility when he tells us to be compassionate and not to be judgmental.
And he's not wrong about that, but to me it seems like he's letting the media take advantage of him.
