Mourdoch and Blasphemy

The good news is that Mourdock won. The bad news is that there are still people in this country who think that abortion should be illegal due to superstition and mythology. A woman should have the legal right to choose, no matter what. That is true freedom. Religious beliefs should never be made into legislation. I'm the perfect example. I'm a Buddhist, and Buddhism teaches that abortion is wrong, except in matters of rape, incest, or when the health and well being of the child or mother is at risk. However, I don't think that my own personal religious beliefs should be made into law. If we want to be a truly free nation, then abortion is something we have to allow.
