Original Sin

in my opinion ,babies all are angels:tink:

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.

It's saying his mother conceived him in sin. You're telling the verses what they mean, instead of listening.

"I was shapen in iniquity". David is bemoaning his sinfulness, not his mothers. Which he declares goes back to his birth.

What is your basis for this claim, other than a conveniently cherry picked verse?

Cherry picked?

Psalm 51:1....blot out my trasgressions

Psalm 51:2 Wash me thouroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Psalm 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Psalm 51:4 Against thee, the only, have I sinned,....

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Psalm 51 was written after he had Uriah the Hittite killed, and took his wife, Bathsheba. He is praying for God's forgiveness for his evil deed.
