It's saying his mother conceived him in sin. You're telling the verses what they mean, instead of listening.

"I was shapen in iniquity". David is bemoaning his sinfulness, not his mothers. Which he declares goes back to his birth.

Psalm 51 was written after he had Uriah the Hittite killed, and took his wife, Bathsheba. He is praying for God's forgiveness for his evil deed.
