Debunked Revelations?

There is no free will except exercised by God. Man has a will, but it is not free.

So if we aren't actually free to make choices, and everything is predestined, why are we judged? We didn't have any choice in who we are, what we believe, and what actions we take. Isn't free will the whole point of faith, commandments, and judgement? This seems to me like we're all slaves, even the devil.

You can make, and will make choices. And you will live and die by those choices. What I said is that man does not have 'free will'. Free will speaks to nothing influencing your will. Free will speaks to you being able to exercise your will based only on because you want to. Only God has 'free will'. Man only has a will and he constantly has to exercise his will due to things that come into his life which he would rather not have to choose at all.

No, free will is not the whole point of faith. Faith is a gift from God. The Christian doesn't choose to have faith. He has faith because God give it to him to believe.

i think everything in the book is questionable in every respect. It's a good fantasy if you like that type of tall tale.

That's the thing, though: What you think of as a "tall tale" others regard as the greatest story ever told. ;)
