Are all these unrests a sign of Biblical end times?

Or is it just yet another turn of what has happened before in other eras?

im going to take nap now

I haven't really rested in a couple of weeks. I haven't read the bible, either. I can tell you that my unrest has not been biblical. More than that I don't believe in the end times caca and I didn't believe in it when I was a Christian. I do know it makes a lot of fundie sensationalists a lot of money.

What's happening around the word. Global warming, civil unrest, wars, unknown diseases running rampant, etc etc etc.

the black plague was an unkown disease there was civil unrest at the time as well as wars.......

Ah, ok. Well, it is not a sign of biblical end times. It is a sign that there is no God. For your whole life, you have been believing in something that does not exist.

I touched on that "era" in the OP. So you think it's just another "phase"?

Well, that's your opinion. Not mine.

Phase? No, I think it is just happens in the course of life be it a bacteria, rodent, bird, dinosaur or mammal.

Thank you for your response.

I dunno- it's hard to say. With things like prophecies, it's easy to believe that there are signs and that predictions are true, but then people might have thought the same thing in ancient Rome when decadence and moral decay led to their undoing. It may merely be that history is repeating itself. ;)

Why would it be? It's not like the world has been just blissful before now you know.

In the Book of Daniel it refers to two chief Arch Angels (Michael, Gabriel) struggling with the Princes of Persia at the end times. Ancient Persia is modern day Iran, a little spooky.

Nope.

Nothing is really special about the time right now, stuff is always happening.

LOL - everything from biblical doom and gloom prophecy occured there because at that time that was the extent of human exploration and knowledge. I might consider believing if they were doing nothing but talking about events in the new world before the new world became known to the middle east.

I don't put much stock in interpreting the Bible literally because so much is symbolic. Though some of it is based in historical facts, so it's hard to categorically dismiss all parts of it based on what we think we know. Many of the earlier stories in the bible have even earlier origins in ancient Sumerian texts found in Iraq.

Exactly. . . .

If you want to talk about an economic collapse, politicians and leaders seeming utterly lost and confused, Wars and unrest spreading, natural disasters and weather events abounding and a civilization that seems completely consumed with stuff and superficiality. We could be close to some serious population reduction event, soon. All it would take is a major EMP type solar flare to send our whole country back to pre 1900's culture.

there are less wars today, than there were in the 1980s.

the earth is actually getting more peaceful.

nuclear weapons are drastically reduced, and the chances of a nuclear world-war are almost non-existent.

That's actually true, especially compared to WWII peace wise. But the ME is such a pivotal player in world energy because of geopolitical problems. Any serious restrictions to the petroleum supplies could knock an already wobbly recession into a full blown Depression.

Besides all that, the "End Times" is only a bedtime story told around a bronze-age campfire. Nothing a rational person should worry about.

I never claimed to be rational, lol.
