Many of these things have yet to transpire........but will.Alright, then, so why didn't Jesus do any of the things that the Messiah was supposed to do? (I'm arguing from a Jewish perspective here) How come all the Jews aren't in Palestine? How come there is no world peace?
He is a descendant of David....his lineage is laid out biblically. How come Jesus wasn't a descendant of David?
Faith in what he said and did. What makes you so sure that he was God?
No, because Jesus was/is God and he preached and prophesied to the Jews just like he did everyone else. Jews have just the same opportunity for redemption as anyone. If Jews go to Hell, wouldn't God be punishing them for doing what he said?
Why would God say that the Messiah can't change His laws and then actually incarnate into the Messiah that does that very thing?
God "changed" his own law......Christ was simply the fulfillment of his "New Covenant."
Same reason why I or anyone else believes he is the Messiah.........Faith in what he said and did.Why would Jews have any reason to believe that Jesus was the Messiah?
The New Testament and Christianity are in clear contradiction with the Old Testament. My point is that that someone who actually follows the Bible wouldn't even be a Christian, let alone reject the Torah.
This just is not true...........if you truly sit down and read the OT, it is filled with the prophesies of Christ's coming as Messiah and in several cases describes to a "T" his death, burial, and resurrection.
