As for God's not who we were taught he is - again, it's breaking away from how she was raised as a southern baptist and the context of god from the perspective of a southern baptist. If god were to indeed exist god couldn't possibly only exist within the definition of southern baptists.
If christ is the only way, does that mean that Jews are going to hell? Muslims? Buddhists?
How can people of different faiths of the same god - Abrahamic god - not reach the same goal simply because of a variance in how they approach god?

I'm just thinking how it would actually work if it happened today. It does make sense though.

I had a friend show me some weird letter game that if you give each letter in the alphabet a number and then spell out the word computer and then add all it's numbers up it = 666. I don't take that seriously, just thought it worth mentioning.

I've always been interested in Revelation stories since I was little. Oprah's thing was worth a post I thought. I read some of the Left Behind books as well, they were really good.

The Bible makes it clear that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. The others denied him so yes, we believe they won't go to heaven. And I HATE saying that, I never tell other people that they won't go to heaven, I don't have the stomach for it, even when we talk about Jesus. I'd tell them that you get to heaven through Jesus, but telling someone where they'll go if they don't is too sad to think about. But the truth is, yes.

They others had their chances, and they that are alive today have an equal chance, but they reject His name.

And yes I'm aware that people think the same thing about me and everybody thinks it about everyone else. It's a part of life.

The Left Behind series is actually a good read. Compeltey fictional, but a good read.

The bible says so, yet obviously you do not believe everyword of the bible nor take every word literally so why would the one way through christ be any more to be taken literally than say Leviticus? Numbers? Genesis?

What does it matter of what other's think, shouldn't only what god thinks be relevant?
IOW, in that all roads lead to Rome is it not the case that all roads lead to god?

Since you hit on it, I have to ask, why don't you have the stomach for telling people what is the core of your faith?
