Pelosi signals willingness to add to TARP funds

Pelosi told ABC's "This Week" program that "some increased investment" might be needed beyond the $700 billion approved last year

"Change has to happen in terms of what is done, what the transparency of it is, what the accountability of it is. Only then would we be able to pass any additional funding," Pelosi said.

Pelosi said the government should take an equity stake in banks that receive funds so taxpayers could share in any upside as banks return to health.

Seems like the bailout wasn't enough what do you think?

Pelosi's scheme will likely founder in less time, but in foundering will plunge the USA into debt the likes of which have never before been seen.

Congress is one of the few places in the world, where if somethings fails they add more money thinking it will produce success.

I think we need to follow the Jefferson quote in your signature.
Heh, that's a laugh, you're one of the biggest liberals on the board.
