I think this is a huge shame as it wouldnt have been a bad idea. Though I think the points being made about politicisation are a valid concern, espicially as here in Stoke-on-trent there would be a risk of the BNP taking over. I understand some parts of the U.S have a similar system to whats being proposed here. How does it work out for you?
