(CNN) - Baltimore is seeing its deadliest month in 15 years after an outbreak of Memorial Day weekend violence left nine people dead in 29 shootings. So far, Baltimore has tallied 35 homicides this month, police said. The last time Baltimore saw that many homicides was December 1999, police said.

To my mind polarized political stances are inappropriate in this case. It is clear to me the problem of Baltimore riots, police brutality and ethnic crime is not limited to unlawful police officers. The same way it is not limited to bad blacks. Cops have a reason to behave this way. I am not saying it is well-justified, but at least it exists. When the problem is multifaceted it cannot be solved on unilateral basis. American society should admit African-Americans share blame. Only then we will be able to do something about it.

Do they? If you're an African American with a job who pays taxes and obeys the law you would share zero blame for crime waves, I thought conservatives were big on personal responsibility?

Inner city blacks are the heart of the liberal base. There is no way in hell a liberal is going to call them out for bad behavior.

no, no, no. Homosexuals are responsible for a large amount of child molestation and child porn, not for idiots getting killed.
 
I lived in the US for a few years but it was in New England so I don't pretend to know what its like in some of the inner city's. But my experience of America is that it has a very hard working workforce especially compared to other countries and their are still plenty of opportunities to succeed if you work for it. I struggle to believe that certain races or ethnic groups don't have a fair shot and that they are doomed because of their zip code. Black American have plenty of role models today with many blacks in the government, on TV, sports stars and community leaders. I just don't buy this narrative that they don't have a fair shot.
 
But people are worried about cops.

It's a cultural thing. There are many instances where the Black culture is strong and other areas where it's weak and that also depends, it seems, on whether they are led by liberals or Conservatives.

Homosexuals are less than 10% of the population, hardly the core of any party. As for Latinos, Hispanic Voters in the 2014 Election | Pew Research Center . As you can see, a roughly 60/40 split of 17% of the population does not make them the base for a party either. However, 90 of Blacks, 15% of the population certainly accounts for a large part of the party.

Then look at the turnout rates.

Exit polls released by CNN show that white women's votes went to the Republicans by a margin of 13 percent. Fifty-six percent of white women voted Republican while only 43 percent voted Democrat. http://www.cawp.rutgers.edu/fast_facts/voters/documents/genderdiff.pdf Which shows turnout, Women were the highest.

So, what other group would you call the hard-core base of the Libs?
