Poll: Goodell should stay; Peterson if cleared

Interesting that despite all the hatred being spewed from the media, the general public doesn't seem to be listening:

Meanwhile, back on the Ray Rice front, there seems to be racial rift of sorts developing between those who think he should be permanently banned or not:

So what is more interesting from this AP-Gfk poll? The fact that the vast majority believe Goodell should stay, or that there is such a wide gap between whites and blacks when it comes to a permanent ban for AP? And what could account for that wide gap between whites and blacks? Is it a cultural thing, or is it just blacks rallying around one of their own against the white men (Goodell and the owner from the Vikings in this case) trying to hold him down?

Interesting read.

I think Goodell should stay. I'll reserve judgment on Peterson until he is tried.

There certainly is a black/white disparity in those results isn't there?
 
Fire his sorry ass and do it now. His handling of these cases has been a complete travesty.
 
They should have run Goodell off before this current mess began.
 
Football fans want to keep him in so they can trash his good name when he prohibits another act of "fun" or endorses one crappy headphone company at the expense of another crappy headphone company.
