Republican state Rep. Paul Scott of Grand Blanc said early Wednesday he accepted results showing that he was recalled by voters in his Genesee County district. The 29-year old chairman of the House Education Committee, was targeted by the Michigan Education Association for policies that weakened teacher tenure and cut education funding.

Republicans are being turned back, not only in Ohio, but also in Michigan, where the first successful recall in almost 30 years of a state legislator was completed yesterday. It's called taking back the government from the GOP corporate machine.
