Stop watching TV altogether for 6 months.
    Education.

I used to, but I just can't anymore.

That said, I don't watch any cable news (unless you can't The Daily Show & The Colbert Report from time to time). I do like to read some conservative columnists (George Will, David Brooks, e.g.) to get their perspective.

I watch the news shows that I know will tend to tell both sides such as the Sunday morning shows or if I watch pundit shows I make sure it's with well educated pundits or hosts (see Lawrence odonnell Anderson Cooper) or I get my stuff from online. I watch fox on commerical breaks.

In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that’s crazy." -Reagan

So liberals, especially on this board, have no where to turn. They are sweating bullets waiting on Beck's next TV show.

Nah they'll just post about Hannity in the meantime.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Hannity isn't the same, he doesn't wear his Christianity on his sleeve like Beck.

I'm not really a liberal, but am democrat leaning. My boyfriend is a Republican who I consider far more credible than anyone on FOX News. We are constantly debating each other, and I think we often shift each other's views. I also read plenty of columns from a conservative point of view. Long story short: I do not watch FOX very often, but I don't think I'm missing out on much.
