As a Democrat, Liberal, Progressive, etc., if the election were to be held today, would you vote for President Obama?

I am on the fence at this point. He has done many good things, but he has also dissappointed me in grave ways as well.

What about you, my fellow bleeding heart? Will you vote for him?

Yes, because there are no viable alternatives and I doubt there will be any.

Yes I would & yes he has dissapointed me Particularly with extending the Bush era tax breaks. Also he is too compromising. But he is a zillon times better than any of the pubs riding in the clown car. Bernie Sanders for POTUS!

It always amazes me when liberals say that Obama has disappointed them. We all knew that despite the right-wings attempts to paint him as a liberal, Obama is a total moderate. His senate record should have given everyone a clue. The reality is, while we all had hopes that perhaps he would govern a little more to the left, we should have known that in todays America, it is unlikely we are going to have a true liberal in the whitehouse.

Will I vote for Obama....pretty likely.

Most likely "No", but I voted "I don't know"
Too early to know who he will face.
Sometimes it is better to know the devil you face than the one you don't.

I'm not a Democrat, Liberal, or Progressive. Must be a etc.

If somehow Nader runs and somehow has a realistic chance then no i will not.
But it all reason i probably will unfortunatly

Are you saying that your completely happy with him? I do feel that yes he say done an incredible job of taking the high rd. I do not think any POTUS is perfect. Isn't there always room for improvement?

President Obama has his good things and he has his screwups as well, just like any other President. I think I probably will vote for him, I don't really see any other alternatives that I feel could do better.

I'm not saying that I'm completely happy with him....all I'm saying is that a lot of liberals had unrealistic expectations that he would govern as a liberal. Obama is not and never has been a liberal.

Be careful...Nader is responsible for giving us GWB.

Yea but he has never had realistic chances of winning..
I just wish this electorial system we have for elected the executive branch actually gave 3rd parties chances of winning...

Nothing about Obama's time in the senate suggested moderate. At least not in terms of the American left-right paradigm.

The difference is that Obama the Senator and Obama the President are two separate people. Many of the things he seemed to be against while in Congress suddenly appeared okay once he found himself in the Oval Office.

I agree about the unrealistic expectations.

I said I don't know. I'm not thrilled with the job he's done necessarily, but I'm not thrilled with any of the other candidates so far, either.

The only real answer to this question should be "I Don't Know" since we don't know who his opponent will be. You can hate his polices all you want, but if the republican candidate offers worse over all polices can you honestly say you'd vote republican?

It being mid May of 2011 it is far too early to decided on who to vote for. Time will have to go into seeing where the major candidates fall and who best represents my views.

I would vote for a pile of dog**** on the pavement before Obama.....but I dont think McCamnesty is running.

......The Worst President In History--Barack HusSame Obama. Saying your going to willfully and knowingly vote for him again......is to admit you have the mental capabilities of a box of hair or a nutless monkey.

I don't think a nutless monkey is any less mentally capable than a nut-having monkey.

Yes, I don't think the republicans have a candidate that I would vote for.

Yes, because his actions as President have been ENTIRELY THE SAME AS his voting record as Senator
