I would pay money to see an authentic dogtag that had a religious preference of "Darth Gayder"

I don't give two hoots in hell whether you take me serious or not.

Larsen applied July 6, 2006 to become the first Wiccan chaplain in the U.S. armed forces and was rejected and discharged which is a lot more recent than the 20 years ago when you claim you served.

Just because you say something, does not make it so. If you have some proof there were Wiccan chaplains, please present it. Otherwise you should be written off as just another liar.

OK. You asked for it. You really shouldn't beg people to publicly demonstrate that you have a squeaky toy for a brain.

That's the first one. I have 19 more, and probably could have found 1000 more if I had wanted to spend the time. Everytime you post this bullcrap in this thread I'm going to post another one, and then another one, and so on, just to show everyone here what a lying punk ass bitch you really are.

no doma only really applies in specific cases....military members being one of them. further, said marriages could not be performed on federal instillations like military bases.

You didn't even bother reading it, did you? OK, heres link number two, and this time I'll put a quote from it up so you can't get away with your gutless evasion tactics.
    Wiccans and military preparedness

    "Wicca is a valid religion:
He recognizes that Wicca has been formally recognized as a valid religion by the Army since 1996. He did mention that many Wiccan groups have been given tax exempt status. Unfortunately he did not mention that:

The Army actually recognized Wicca much earlier. Since 1978, various editions of its chaplains' guide which deals with minority religions, have including Wicca.

Various U.S. courts have also recognized Wicca as a valid religion (e.g. a 1988 decision by a U.S. district court). "

This one actually goes back further than the first link I put up, which references the year 1990. Wanna go for link number 3?

    you claim you was in
I don't get where the idea comes from that people are inclined to lie about military service online. I don't think it happens so much, or there'd be a bunch of delta and seals on every forum. I mean, if someone is going to lie about being in the military, you'd think they'd go fighter pilot or special ops sniper. Maybe swat team leader. Who's like "I'm gonna pretend I was in the military, but just as a regular navy guy years ago".

    Get a grip.

(I thought he was referring to redress but the point stands)

DOMA applies to every same sex couple in the US because, even if they can get their state to legally recognize their marriage, the federal government does not because of DOMA.

It applies equally to military, government employees and civilians in that same sex marriages are not recognized by the federal government for any of them, which means that they are not getting the federal government benefits that are given to opposite sex marriages. Now, those benefits are greater for some people due to their government employment, but that is not uniques to same sex couples.
