Seems he has a lot of executive experience.
Executive experience running businesses, trade organizations, and lobby groups. That's only slightly better than people trying to say that the executive experience of Obama being a Community Organizer was his "executive" experience.

I'm speaking with regards to a government sense. Mayor. Governor. President. Something where he's had to serve as an executive over a form of government. To me, his business executive experience is similar to how I view someone who served in the house...its helpful experience, but its not directly correlating experience.

Even in the business world, I wouldn't say someone who was president of a non-profit focused on Resturants would be greatly experienced to be the CEO of say Hewlett Packard or GM. While it speaks to some of the skills he may have, the realities of what the jobs focus, duties, and responsabilities are may be significantly different.

He's never had experience running any kind of government entity...not an executive branch agency, not an actual executive branch, nothing. He's got little to no legislative experience. For all the talk that went on about Obama, if Obama was a "rookie" then Cain's not even in Triple A yet.

I admit, I like his business experience, but we're talking about running the most powerful country in the world not a regional pizza chain.

The idea of making someone president who hasn't ever held any political office doesn't sit well with me. As far as I can tell some conservatives have found a guy that represents a conservative version of what they think of Obama and are rallying behind him. No experience, good talker, great at talking points, has no idea on policy etc...

Sorry but being the head of a large chain of burger kings and godfather pizzas would give you next to nothing as far as political insight goes.

I like Herman Cain, mostly for local reasons, but as far as politics go Gary Johnson is more likely to fit me politically.

Herman Cain will be on Becks radio show in a few minutes. About time! he said he's going to ask him some tough questions.

He turned both of them around in short order. He can do the same for the country. He's a smart, focused man and he knows how to lead.

    3. He has never held public office, and has little political experience. Didn't we criticize Obama for that?
    4. His foreign policy is: "I don't know the facts, so I wont tell you."

He is one of the better ones (most are RINOs) but I would vote for Ron Paul. Paul has consistency with his free market beliefs, and the record to prove it. Plus, polls show he has a greater chance of beating Obama. Who knows what Cain will actually do when given power. Yes, he is a successful business man. But that does not mean he will govern according to the constitution. I don't like having no way of knowing.
You'd vote for "blame America first" and "I wouldn't have killed Bin laden like that" Ron Paul, before you'd vote for Herman Cain?
