I have to say though YS.

Compared to Palin, or Bachmann, who would you rather have if the GOP had to nominate someone?

Yea I saw that. There are justifiable reasons not to. Extremist are crazy, it could spawn a series of attacks (since they secretly believe it didn't happen) and America, even thought we love us some violence, is squeamish. I'm not done watching the debate yet. I'll hold on voting in either poll.

If you are republican, you don't want Rommey. He won't invigorate the base and they won't go out to vote because Hes Obama lite in the bases eyes.

Back on topic: Cain supports the Fair tax law (woot) because of the prebate system, which is suppose to ensure that no one pays taxes on life essentials. Now, in the past I was more incline to not tax essentials, but I shied away from that due to it giving certain industries special privileges. What I was thinking though, instead of a prebate, which is money doled out based on family size and your states poverty line to cover life expenses, why not do the reverse income tax. The reverse income tax, purposed by Milton Freedman, is, IMO, fundamentally different, because it is means tested. This way, the rich get taxed at a higher rate and the poor are completely removed from the burden of the taxes.

    Thoughts?

I disagree, I think based on what I saw, agree with him or not, Cain would destroy Romney... and while Romney wouldn't be the worst prez in my opinion I think this election is really going to be about who's the lesser of two evils.

I will reserve my judgement for now on who I'm going to choose to endorse at the end of it all... but I'm not endorsing Obama as of yet.

I just really don't wanna see a socially conservative jackass in the white House.
