So , Osama Bin Laden is dead they say. Will he go to heaven or hell?

No one knows.. We are humans not some higher being. Let God/Allah /Yahewh/Jehovah sort him out...

Heaven and hell are fictions. There's no punishment or reward for him or anybody else beyond this reality. The soul is just a human invention.

If I believed, I would like to believe hell. And even then we are talking Dante's hell and he would be wayyyy down there.

Assuming I ever decide on a religion, whatever negative end exists, he's probably there.

On the other hand, perhaps he's going to the positive end and everyone else the negative, because we got it all backwards....nah.

I don't know. It depends.

If there is a Hell, terrorist go there. As much as I believe in forgiveness and redemption, I don't see any other option for terrorist.

Honestly, I don't believe there is a negative or positive anything since that all sums up to the fact that those words don't exist. There are no right or wrongs but people's opinion. It's no different for Heaven and Hell.
If you believe in God, then it is his judgments that you see the highest value in. Besides, one couldn't exactly label out what requirements are needed to go into either of those places.
I could say Hitler goes to hell since he killed a bunch of people, but to heaven because he stuck with his beliefs to the very end. Or some insane maniac who didn't kill anyone, yet had no morals or "meaningful" aspects in life if you understand what I mean.

Neither, because neither exist. But if there were a hell, I'd hope he'd go there.

I think that there are people who do what they do out of a pure belief in their religion. I dont believe in a vengeful God, I believe in a loving Father. I believe a loving father knows the heart of men and women. If there be a heaven and hell, the judgement of hell will be reserved for those that knowingly commit acts of evil for the sake of evil.

After reading somewhat of the character of Bin Laden, I dont find him to be a particularly religous person. His past sure didnt indicate it, nor did his actions as the leader of Al Qaida. Heres the cool part...Societies rules can judge people like Bin Laden. At the end of the day...I dont have to. It makes it a lot easier to know peace when you dont know hatred. He's gone. Im glad he is gone. I dont know his fate. Dont much care at this point.

Please, a little reality here, he went as shark food.

He's dead. It does not concern me whether his god wants him or not.

For those of you who worship the same god, what if your god had forgiven him and given him a place in his hall? Could you do the same, or would you be forced to turn your back?

I believe his spirit was recently spotted at a Chuck E. Cheese during a 4 year olds birthday party.

I believe that answers the question sufficiently.

Osama is in hell. There is a hell and he is destined to be there for all eternity.

An interesting question. Being an agnostic I couldn't answer based on faith. However, if it was known that Bin Laden's path was the righteous path to salvation I'd have to re-examine every facet of what I believe to be right and moral.

not sure, but instead of Sleeping with 72 Virgins he's sleeping with 72 Sturgeons............

I realized you are in the tormented sin zone of Almaik, and will be there forever frozen as an ice cube.

If there is any justice, he will go where all the Mormons go.

quite frankly i don't care where he is.

ding dong the wicked prick is dead.

It's a question I'm glad I don't have to ask myself.

Well, I'm assuming it ain't. I'm fuzzy on the details, but it doesn't seem like any of their god's prophets would condone their actions. But their god is supposed to be merciful and forgiving, beyond what any mortal could understand. Some sects don't believe there's a Hell at all. So I do wonder if so many of the Christian folk celebrating his death today-- a thing for which I do not blame them-- would be willing to stay in Heaven knowing he was there.

I think we have a damn good idea in this case.

How do you know he didn't repent and accept the higher power before he took his last breathe?
