Is the manufacture responsible for consequential damages if a condom breaks?

We all know that they are highly effective when used properly, but crap does happen. So, if a condom breaks when correctly used, should the manufacturer and/or retailer be held responsible for the breakage and any consequential damages such as STD's, pregnancy & so on?

Also, if it breaks should you be able to return it to Wal-Mart?

**I just think this would be a really fun poll since we're always doing serious stuff in here.

Do you think condoms should come with warranty for regular wear and tear?
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Can one prove that a condom broke because of a manufacturer defect and not from use? It's common sense that there is no 100% effective form of birth control and people need to understand this when having sex. I don't believe a manufacturer should pay for "consequential damages (aka a child)" if a couple had sex and the condom broke. Babies are a consequence of sex That's biologically what sex is for.

Maybe they can start to rate them like they do tires. A certain model of condom will fit such and such size organ, goes for so many strokes and can be used up to such and such speed.

Depends on how long the condom remained in the guy's wallet and how many years he sat on it before removing it from the wrapper.

How you going to prove that is the time she got pregnant and not the next night when they didn't use a condom?

If someone uses a condom like this...

...why should the manufacturer be responsible?

This also would be an incorrect use...

The manufacturer is responsible only if you have used Viagra at that time.

Problem is not everyone knows how to handle condoms A: while storing them B: while fitting them for use properly.

Guys, don't keep them in your wallets...

Guys, make sure they're on the right way.
