If Bush were president he would be blamed for the high gases prices. The double standard for Obama is disgusting

Did you blame Bush for high gas prices?

Where is the public out cry. You here nothing on the TV about it. Shows the biased of the liberal media.

Awfully vague term there.

If you know the media is already biased then what's to get mad about. Make yourself happy, get Fox News to blame Obama for gas prices.

And I've heard plenty in the media about people blaming Obama for gas, in fact I heard a bunch of college students whining about Obama to fix gas prices the other day on NPR. Don't get all your news from the TV.

Yeah, that's like a Liberal complaining that Fox or Limbaugh didn't complain about Bush more...

Really? I voted constitution party and they were always complaining about Bush not conservative enough

And SheWolf was talking about the right-wing media, not the Constitution party...there have also been plenty of liberals, including myself, who have complained that Obama is not liberal enough.

I miss Dana, a least GW knew it wasn't the message but it was the messenger that people would seek.

Sorry Dana

The point is Bush and Cheny were blamed. Now with Obama the silence is noticable. You can deny the double standard but it is there.

You've been accusing the media for being liberal repeatedly. I don't see what's new and why you'd be surprised. And like I said, if you actually look around you WILL find instances of Obama being blamed for gas prices.

I miss Bill Clinton. Not only was he smooth like Bush was, Republicans actually clapped when he said he would raise taxes on rich people. Hell even Republicans miss Clinton. We need about 8 years of Clinton stat.

Glenn Beck just did a special on gas prices. Now, if anyone was going to work it back to how Obama's people are moving behind this, it's Beck - there are plenty of quotes by the President and his team about the necessity of high energy prices, high gas prices, etc. of the type which Beck jumps on.

Beck blames Ben Bernanke.

Not on your life.

I don't blame G.W. Bush personally for most of the things that happened when he was in office. Rather, I put most of the blame on the Republican Party and its top officers and members. I think the GOP leaders wanted to raid our treasury and resources on behalf of their corporate campaign contributors and gave GW all these stupid explanations on why this would be good for the country and GW just went along with them not really knowing any better.

At least I hope that was the case. Otherwise, he's going to have to burn in hell for all the things that happened on his watch.

All US presidents have been awful since at least Abraham Lincoln.

I really don't see how someone can blame the President for the price of oil, especially by the right-wing. Laissez-faire and all that. However, I'm somewhat glad about the high prices because I think it illustrates the need for public transportation systems and how viable they are.

Yes, I miss him; however, I understand why people say he was a bad president. I grasp their viewpoint, and I reject it.

Voting other is boring.

President Bush was horrible. He got us into wars instead of kinetic military actions. He tried to get along with our allies instead of sucking up to our enemies. Actually, President Bush oddly thought our country's enemies were his enemies while President Obama understands that our coutnry's enemies are his friends, his soul mates. And, worst of all, for all his faults, President Bush wasn't a racist.

How is that bad?

Poor man... He was just a puppet of the masters.

I don't recall people claiming that Bush was racist.
