I'm pretty sure every person has given some variation of this answer: "No the movement is not racist, but they have racist members." Get over it - it's true. Nobody has tried to discredit the movement. If we wanted to discredit it our answers would have been: "**** yeah the Tea Party is a bunch of racist!" But nobody said that. Move along.

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK
The second people group a human population by their genetics and gives special services to that population because of it, it is racism( this goes for every case). The grouping of "race" has no real significance when it comes to a government who protects the rights and laws of the land, and if it is significant to the government, then it is racist. To the government, the difference of a white man and black man should be none... and it's job to protect that value.
The minorities who are at the tea party rallies i think deserve more kudos then anyone, for they have transended the cultural norm and it is evidence that they actually thought outside the basis of race, to what they actually believe in.
