Conduct a poll of the Tea Party then; it's not my job to collect evidence to support your position.

I've already supported my position. You have not given any valid reasons why we should not look to the endorsements of national and local Tea Party organizations to gauge what candidates the Tea Party supports. Sucks for you.

No, some members are, but not the group itself.

I'm sorry you don't like the fact that the opinions of organizers do not represent the organization itself. Did you know that many Catholics are for allowing abortion, even though the official position is that the church is vehemently against it? Oh well, not like you'd listen to the argument anyway.

Right. So we should never look to organizations for any idea of how their members feel. We should just pretend that Tea Party candidates don't exist. Let's also make false analogies comparing religious organizations to specifically political organizations where members are fired up specifically to elect candidates and change policy. Let's also pretend that Tea Party organizations with millions of members don't endorse people. That's rich.

Show me who the people have endorsed, not the leaders. And furthermore, how is it a false analogy?

The people joined organizations who endorsed candidates. It's safe to say that you don't usually chose to join political organizations with different political interests.

And furthermore, how is it a false analogy?
Religion and Politics do not necessarily go hand in hand. Politics and politics necessarily do go hand in hand. It's common to belong to a religion with different political endorsements; it's not common to join a political organization with different political endorsements. False analogy.
