Do you think Trump is really going to run for President or is this some sort of PR move or just to get attention?
 
It's free advertising for his godawful reality show.
 
I dont think he will run. Donald has a need to be in the limelight. He believes his money means hes important.
 
I don't think he's serious either. He's just trying to get ratings for his show.
 
I wish he would run. If for no other reason than to bring a sense of reality to the silly political posturing and never answering a question truthfully and straightforwardly.

He's a breath of fresh air in that sense. I loved the way he rolled over Meredith Viera the other day. If only more of these guys would do that. Nothing is more aggravating than to see someone being interviewed and letting the press unfairly put them on the spot without responding in kind. He reminds me of Chris Christie. We need more of these kinds of peeps - not fewer.
 
I haven't been able to take him seriously from day 1 of this recent escapade.
 
Could you imagine how awful President Trump would be? He knows nothing about law, or politics. His biggest claim to fame is his ability to screw every last one of us and acquire more wealth for himself. He has an overinflated ego, and is pretty much a megalomaniac. He indulges is freaky TV shows, and looks less human with each passing year.

He's a white Kim Jong-Il.

he is a joke and he knows it. he is also a whore for publicity and this fraud is giving it to him.

I wish he would, the enterainment would be fantastic, but no he won't run. (And Newt Gingrich will not run either.)
 
I voted yes and why not...he is a American citizen and he has every right...oh did I say ciitizen:p

Doesn't he know a lot about cutting deals? Isn't that what we do with other countries? Don't you think he'd be good at getting people to follow a good plan? Isn't he a proven leader?

He's not a leader. He just plays one on TV. And being successful in business is nothing like being successful in running a country. It's like being a skilled criminal.

Thats why he might not be so bad.

I really don't like to hire experianced people. They tend to come with lots of baggage, and lots of preconcieved ideas that keep them from achieving. How many times have I heard "you can't do that" just before I finished "doing that". It's people who don't know that they cant achieve something that usually achieve something. Who cares that he knows nothing about law, I am sure that the president has access to lots of lawers. Who cares that he knows nothing about politics - we would be better off without politions.

And Obama was a leader? What big deals did he put together? How many people did he supervise? What did he create?

Candidates don't really run on leadership, they run on popularity. Hey, the guy has a successful TV show, that alone is more than Obama accomplished.
 
Why not? America is already one big oligarchy run by corporate powers. Might as well make it official.
 
This just drives f'in crazy when I write a thoughtful post and it just disappears. OK, i pressed a wrong button by mistake why isn't there a warning "are you sure you want leave".

Fine whatever, I have no doubt that Trump is serious and wants to be president. And I believe he is exactly what this very messed up country needs.
