Fox announced recently that they would not be renewing Beck's contract due to loss or ratings. The rating are down 30%.

The question I propose is did his ratings decline because be think he was too much of a conspiracy theorist, because they don't like hearing the truth, or that they don't like hearing hard news, true or not.

Hmmmmm... how shall I dare put it? Oh yeah, he was crazier than a ****house rat.

There, there. That about sums it up.

His views could have been seen as too loony for some, while at the same time, there are curbs of popularity in anything. With the political success of the Tea Party being at least somewhat credible, the energy level is probably somewhat diminished.

Where is the "I don't know" option?

I'll be beck.

It was a combination of all. Maybe there was some truth in what he said, but you know what else? There was plenty of good news as well. You can't sit there and spew negativity all day without it eventually coming back to you. It was all shock value and sensationalism with him. So, yes... it's a combination of all of what you said:

1) He was a conspiracy theorist.
2) Everything he did was negative.
3) He could sensationalize the most trivial news bits.
4) He fakes like he is crying and generally hams it up - seriously, he's not a good actor.
5) He even did news bits trying to prove his religion is correct while saying he wasn't trying to prove his religion was correct.

I'm sure people can add to my list.

All I have to say.

Finally.

He was hard to follow and at times became very boring and redundant and he was overly emotional at times.
Glenn Beck gave me some good information and I believe he was totally sincere but he was destined to have a short run because of the type of show he had. Oreilly is more an entertainment show whereas beck was not

Other. It was just boring.

OTHER! He is an ass-clown shock-jock. He is a poor actor and a pair of cement shoes for the GOP. In short... he sucks.

other. his ratings were down because of the content of his show.

You're all wrong

Glenn was not cancelled or fired and is not leaving FOX. He is Changing what he will be doing there. That's all.

His ratings are dine and he is still number 3 in the ratings and he beat the other Networks News shows combined.

Roger Ailes said Glenn is great and will be around a long time.

He'll be producing shows for Fox, continuing his internet productions and radio show (I assume) and doing whatever else is up his sleeve that going to "make the liberals crap their pants".

He is crazy, and what he was saying on the show was making Fox embarrassed. And that is an accomplishment if you think about it.

The way he works, I'd say he'll be back in a few years. The thing is, he keeps going over the same stuff. Okay, we get it, Obama is a Kenyan Socialist trying to screw America. Yeah, Soros is evil and trying to subjugate all of America to his leftist will. No matter what you think of his material, it gets boring after some time. That being said, as soon as there is a new Democrat in the White House, he'll have more crap to sell to America....after we pray on it, of course.

Too much silly fluff and consperacy, nothing really hard hitting to even care about.

In memory of Beck...

Beck is a dangerous lunatic who appeals to fools and fanatics. Thank God he has been fired.

If Beck is going to keep working for Roger Ailes, his friend, then it's hard to say he was fired. Or that he was fired because of the boycott. Ailes has explained that Beck's message is a good one but that you can only show that message so many times before it gets old.

I really couldn't believe the fearless Rodger Ailes would give a damn about protests. But I'm sure it was a nice fantasy for his haters.

LOL! It's amazing how the Beck-haters make up their little fictional stories to make themselves feel good.

He said on his radio show the other day that a year from now liberals will be "crapping their pants" over what he's doing.
