Where is the Muslim outrage against thousandfold burned Bibles?

One Christian Pastor Terry Jones has burned a Quran, the political correct politicians in the Western countries are outraged and want to sue this bold Priest, they want to charge him with the so called "hate crime" or to silence him. Till now I am still missing the outrage both of western politically correct politicians and of Muslims against the non-stop 24/7 burning of the Holy Bibles in the Muslim countries e.g. like here in Iran.

My question is should Muslims condemn the thousandfold burning of the Holy Bible like Christians it do?

ARDASHT, IRAN (ANS) -- Following the outrage in the Islamic world about the possible Koran (Qur'an) burning that was due to take place at the Dove World Outreach Centre in Gainesville, Florida, who had launched "International Burn a Koran Day" to coincide with the ninth anniversary of the September 11 2001 terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, it is interesting to note that Muslims have been silent about a shocking Bible burning that took place in Iran.

Fortunately for the many Christians living in the Islamic world who were in great danger if this had gone ahead, the church called it off at the last moment.

But now I can reveal that the Farsi Christian News Network (شبک‡ خبر …سŒ*Œا† فارسŒ زبا† - FCNN) has reported that Iranian Government Security Forces burned hundreds of Bibles back in May of this year.

A spokesperson for FCNN told the ASSIST News Service (ANS), "This action [of burning the Bibles], which has been confirmed by informed sources, was aired on a site belonging to the Pasdaran paramilitary organization, is nothing less than shameful and the persons responsible must be identified and exposed to the whole world."

The report said that on Saturday, May 29, 2010, Ati News, a site belonging to Morteza Talaee, the previous head of the security forces and the current member of the Tehran's city council, their "social-life reporter" had disclosed that shipments of so-called, "Perverted Torah and Gospels" had entered Iran through its Western borders.

Two days later, on Monday, May 31, 2010, the same report was reiterated by the official anti-crime website of the Pasdaran Army called "Gerdaub" which said that a large shipment of Jewish and Christian Scriptures had entered Iran through the Western Azerbaijan province and, according to security officials of that province, the "occupier forces" that operate in the Western regions of Iraq "were responsible for such activities."

FCCN stated that Gerdaub, the official website of the Pasdaran Army [also known as the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps [IRCG] continued its report by quoting the security official who had stated: "Some of these books are distributed locally, but most of the books are smuggled and distributed all over the country. In just the last few months, hundreds of such 'perverted Bibles' have been seized and burned in the border town of Sardasht."

The same unidentified security source added that his intention has been to "inform and enlighten" people.

Nobody's outraged at Terry Jones for burning a Koran alone - people are outraged at Terry Jones for burning a Koran when he was warned that it could endanger Americans and our allies overseas.

Respect is a two way street. So if Muslims want people to respect their religion, Korans and other **** then they should be respectful towards other religions by not burning bibles, Torahs and anything else people might consider to be sacred. This is why I think it is idiotic to get upset over a man burning a Koran when muslims in the middle east burn bibles and are not tolerant of other religions.

Personally if I made this thread the title would have been "Should people who burn bibles bitch or complain when others burn Korans?"

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

Where are the Christians killing Iranians in outrage over thousands of Bibles being burned by a nations government and not by a deranged citizen? I'm a Christian, I believe the Bible is the Words of God. However, burning a book doesn't demising those words and because I believe in the contents of the Bible I do not murder those who offend me or innocents that might be of the same race/nationality of those who offend me.

How far would your placating, butt smooching or salad tossing of terrorists extend to?

Would you be outraged at ministers for performing interracial marriages if racists made threats and then murdered people because those ministers performed interracial weddings?

Would you be outraged at science teachers for teaching the theory of evolution if a religious group started making threats and then murdered people because science teachers were teaching the theory of evolution?

Would you be outraged at a sports team for losing if nut job made threats and then started murdered people because that sports team lost their championship game?

Would you you be outraged at a video game company for not making any more World of Nerd Craft games if die hard world of Nerd Craft fans made threats and then murdered people because that video game company decided that they did not want to make any more sequels to World of Nerd Craft?

I couldn't give a damn about someone burning anything, and will support free speech no matter what.

You may not be able to hear me in Florida, but when I see some SOB burn my flag I get extremely angry. The next time I see it I promise to curse louder for you.

Re: Where is the Muslim outrage against thousandfold burned Bibles?

Some things need to be set straight:

    1. Iran does not represent all Muslims

    2. It seems that a lot of people didn't eve know about this until now, or it would have popped up in one of the Koran burning threads

Finally, at the end of the day, while I understand that people should be outraged, no one is really going to care. They'll get angry, but they actually won't get up and do anything.
