That is why you must expound on your words to reach the same meaning, and perhaps gain more points by making it sound more funny. If I wanted to say someone was a successful playboy, I would say something like, "the room is becoming more moist with every glance of a woman."

I'm often as much a goof in person as on the internet. IRL it depends who I am exposed to.

Iím basically the same. The online forum allows me to focus on one issue at a time which helps because, in person I tend to pull a Wikipedia, I can jump from issue to issue. Iím probably more of a joker in person also.

Same here. On a forum you have time to gather your thoughts and present what you want to say fully and without interruptions.

I'm mellow, pleasant, understanding and patient in person - but still honest, just in a nice way.

There's probably not a single person on this forum who will believe that.

It's more difficult to be charming on the internet than in person.

But it does prove the point.

Tucker is actually a Packers fan in person.

I'm probably a little more withdrawn in person, until I've gotten a hold of what kind of people I am working with, then I open up probably a bit more than I do here.

One thing I've noticed about the internet, is that if it were a gauge of our society, nobody would ever shop at Wal-Mart, eat at Pizza hut or McDonalds, etc... everyone on the internet seems to be intent on being too cool for mainstream products/services.
