Could someone please elaborate how exactly this could possibly help anyone in the long run? I'm having trouble following this guy's reasoning.

That's not what would happen, Mellie. The market would respond to the large scale protests before they let that happen... that's how it always works.

There are lots of things that would be bad for our country, some are possible, others are not. This supposed plan is not.

A destabilized economy is always bad... but a weak stock market isn't the same. This thread was DOA... There is nothing to be angry, scared, or shocked about.

Nope... he lost his job, he has no real power. His plan wouldn't have worked anyway... He is not a threat to society. You appear to believe his crack pot theories as much as he does. You're starting to look like the right wing version of Lerner.

I'm not saying what Lerner wants to do WILL or WON'T happen. The future cannot be predicted.

The question is....is the plan bad for our country?
