Honestly, this is one of those things, I could careless either way.

Edit: New thought. Maybe I don't like it for when strippers get dollar bills now the Constitution will be rubbing against some potential naughty places.

    No, it looks stupid.
If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day.

If you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

I really have no problem with putting the Constitution or any other official document on the money, the one thing that has to go is that whole "In God We Trust" garbage.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

I should have clarified, that wasn't the interesting part, the summary of the constitution was. I don't care either way about the God statement personally.

I wonder though, if our dollars are circulating abroad, if this would be a good way to spread some of the values we hold dear and think the rest of the world should as well. A way to get the word out so to speak.

It was introduced a couple years ago by Cantor. No co-sponsors, no action since.

Not as long as it has "In God We Trust" on it. Money should be secular.

I wouldn't mind it. But I do think constitutional rights should be the 4th R in education.Reading, wRiting, aRithmetic, and constitution Rights.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Cicero Marcus Tullius
