Swords are more elegant that lightsabers, sabers just burn their way through, with swords you can use surgical precision on an opponent, and if the sword is protected with cortosis weave, it's invulnerable to lightsaber damage.

Screw you both. This is the best weapon.

Notice the smaller, removable and pocket sized phaser unit in the middle. While blasers and light sabers have one purpose, to kill, the phaser though, can be set to "stun" (and I'm pretty sure "vibrate" as well). The best thing about this weapon is, when set to kill, it doesn't even leave a body.

I believe that's from the craftsmen series. You can get it at your local Sears.

Phasers are nice have when working on that Fixer Upper.

Yeah, but he who controls the Spice controls the universe!

But wth heppaened to the poll?
We think the Dems punked the results.

(That's a joke given what the thread is about)

I can't believe y'all stayed up all night talking about KOTOR!!! And yes, KOTOR 1 was better than KOTOR 2 overall, but I liked the story of KOTOR 2 a bit better. Obsidian sucks at writing romances, though, and there were so damned many bugs in the thing... AND they had to cut huge portions of the story to get it out the door, so there were glaring plot holes and the ending was really meh.

AHA! It hasn't even been a week, and you've already broken your promise, even on this thread!

No disclaimers accepted!

Yeah, the thread finally turned into something worthwhile.

I didn't see the point of this a while ago. I still don't. It inhibits discussion.

It won't work, because even though you deem no party, you still argue for a side that undoubtedly will appear as a mainstay for said party. I tried it in the past; it does not work.

You can try, but you cannot last without bias.

You may as well have me test you. I would undoubtedly prove your bias should I test it.

I don't think the point is to argue without bias. I think the point is to not just label and dismiss the counter-argument.

True enough. People do this because I believe there afraid that might lose the debate and actually change sides on side topic. Most people are afraid of true open debates because what they can mean to one self. Two things most Humans hate or afraid of. Admitting oneself is wrong and change.

Tried that, too. Over time your (everyone's) frustration will build. You may think otherwise. Heh, you may last months. Your frustration will undoubtedly cause you to label and dismiss.

A test only 1-2 weeks long? Sure. But what does that accomplish if you can't last indefinitely? It's akin to not eating fast food for 2 weeks, and then resuming your bad habit.

Furthermore, why ban only fast food? As in just labeling and dismissing? We're told we're inherently good, right? That in account, why not try to stop all bias, bad grammar, bad spelling, ad nauseum? Why only target a certain patch of skin for a certain spance of time, when we could and "inherently" should target all for a permanent length of time?

Keyword most. However, let's look a little deeper at this issue.

Why should a person want to change? What if they shouldn't? Is change always good? What if a person doesn't want to "admit" oneself as incorrect if from their mindframe they're correct? Does numbers equate to being wrong or right? How deep should we go here?
