Depends on the side effects, but as long as they weren't serious, then definitely. My wife has trouble taking birth control due to hormone imbalances, so we generally just rely on condoms. I'd prefer something a bit safer though (and would like to be able to enjoy sex without a condom too for that matter).
If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day.

If you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Do you not want kids at all, or you just want to hurry up and make the babies then get snipped?

The first. If I wanted to have children I'd most likely adopt. I'd rather become part of the solution than the problem.

more people need to be like you.... Me, i just can't get there, i feel like the only meaning of life that can actually be observed, due to biology is- to reproduce. So i would feel like a failure to my gene's and ancestor's .

I have good genes in some ways, but not others... depression runs in my family, and being severely depressed sucks. I have actually been so depressed and thought, I can't have kids. I can't put somebody else through this...
