Men, would you be willing to take hormonal birth control?

Men, would you be willing to take hormonal birth control?

Nope because I practice abstinence. 22 Years and going strong.

I would take it. I hate condoms and I don't trust women to be reliable with their birth control.

well... those preggo fetishes freak me out...

Its not a fetish. I am male, so therefore I am horny. She was horny, so as a male, it was aces. The problem was that certain positions did not work because they were uncomfortable for her, so we tried other things.

The first. If I wanted to have children I'd most likely adopt. I'd rather become part of the solution than the problem.

Dude, you live in America. Our reproduction rate is just barely above the replacement level, and we're a wealthy culture. Having kids here is not "being part of the problem".

This is true of most wealthy countries and one of the reasons I think the best way to stabilize our population is to increase affluence world wide, which would cause liberalization of cultures and fewer children. Ideally the population would begin to decrease until it got down to a more environmentally sustainable level.

As long as the side effects weren't too severe (IE a slight mood change at times is okay, a constant or severe mood alteration would not be) I'd definitely take it. I'd probably push for my wife to still take hers as well to essentially lessen the chance of an accident occuring.

Difference between someone whose willing to have sex with their preggo wife despite her being preggo and someone who gets off specifically for pregnent women.

I knew someone would bring this up at some point.

Except for the fact that there's immigration.

When there are tons of unwanted babies and children in our society, what's the better thing to do? Provide for a child whose own parents can't provide for him/her because they made some dumb mistakes, or ignoring the problem by wasting your time and effort on having your own kids when those efforts could be used on another individual that actually needs help?

Your Marine buddies ever give you any trouble for it?

All the time but it comes with being a Virgin in the Corps. But I get mine out here since I don't go through sex withdraws out here.

Does the hormonal birth control help me build a body like a greek god?

Where's the "I'm a man, and I don't see a woman gullible enough to trust a man who says he's on the pill" box? ....

Of course I would, why would anybody not?

I mean Im going off the assumption that it would be an FDA drug, equal/greater effectiveness of birth control now and similar/less risks then its a no-brainer of course I would, no reason not to.

No, and I wouldn't let my wife take hormonal birth control as it raises the risk of breast cancer. We'll stick to other forms of birth control. I don't like the idea of pills and hormones controlling fertility in either man or woman.

'Cuz I don't want that **** in my system.

what ****?
you mean drugs?

I can understand if somebody is against most drugs, if your suspect of drugs in general thats not going to change, like I said im going off of normal people. People who typically use meds etc.

No reason not IMO IF its falls under the description I already detailed (FDA drug, equal/greater effectiveness of birth control and similar/less risks then its a no-brainer of course I would, no reason not to.)

As the topic is hormonal birth control, I thought it would have been obvious.

Is the thread title: "Men, would you be willing to take general medications?"

No. We're talking about hormonal birth control.

No reason not IMO IF its falls under the description I already detailed (FDA drug, equal/greater effectiveness of birth control and similar/less risks then its a no-brainer of course I would, no reason not to.)

How about "I had a vasectomy" as a reason.
