If people were perfect I don't think we'd need political systems of any sort.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

If people were perfect, than any political system would work. But I think we would likely live in an anarchy.

I think one could argue that you would still need government to have an organized way to help the poor and disabled.

No. A Libertarian system is still a system of government. Or are you saying that Libertarianism is anarchic in nature? Careful with your answer.

A perfect libertarian state would promote complete liberty, and in this case if people were totally perfect... it would be ideally anarchic... in my opinion

but a libertarian state in our current world would not be anarchic, becuase there is a need for the government to protect people from thier liberty being conflicted with.

If we had perfect morality, I doubt we would care about much of anything except doing the right thing and we would all agree on what that right thing was. The problem is that no only are people not perfectly moral, but they don't even agree on morality itself. So, we would have to define what perfect morality was before we could come up with any sort of hypothetical society based on it.

Could it mean that having a perfect morality-in itself, realizing there can be multiple truths and there can be no fair answer to a question, but then a government would be needed to regulate the representation of all the truths?
