Most of the selections i tried to fit a broad idea since there really are billions of options you could choose. But for the Lower class one i intended it to group all funding that specifically target's the lower class, usually at the cost of the upper or maybe middle class too's tax dollar's. It equal's in broadness of Own Pocket's and is kind of the polar opposite response i would say? Im glad you had your own specific answer because i want this more of a discussion with the fun of a poll.

I didn't say that, and you didn't ask that, you just asked if those things are worth our tax money, and I say yes.

And no I'm not, to answer your question.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "the lower class." That's pretty vague. I support providing health care and education to those who can't afford them, but since health care and education were both separate options I'm assuming that's not what you're talking about. Could you be more specific - are we talking about unemployment benefits? Food stamps? Subsidized housing? The Earned Income Tax Credit? My ranking of that item could go up or down depending on what we're talking about.
Hmmm. I would argue the communications infrastructure should be managed by private companies, because there is natural incentive to always get more customers. That's how the infrastructure got to where it is today. I think decreasing in taxes on business's would completely cover for the need of improvement. This is something that business's get an advantage if their communication's are superior for contact/advertisement purpose's.

"What category's funding should be increased at a higher degree above all other's in order to improve our economy/quality of life?"

im pretty sure i am clear? I ask "what categories funding" - which suggest's that each category get's funding...the word increase mean's "an addition of a quantity that was added" so in addition to what things already are, otherwise the word would be meaningless or suggest we are starting at nothing.

With the poll question, it ask's "What is the best place for our tax money to go."

I am not asking for multiple answer's, but simply asking the 'best' on your list for which our tax money should go. I don't believe it suggest's all, because then the word 'best' would be pointless... what's the point of being the best if you are the only one.

If you just can't decide what you would consider the best that's fine, but i don't think the question suggest's tossing all the money in one category.

I didn't read the OP, just the poll, my bad. If anything will improve the economy in this kind of downturn it would be something like a New Deal era work program.

Is not that difficult to distinguish and confuse with.....

    S H O U L D

    Which was not communicated anywhere.

Do the math, this nation is 14 trillion in debt, after it has wasted 15.9 Trillion on Welfare alone (with the net result, one in every seven US CITIZENS living in poverty and the poverty index the greatest in history, over 15% since the stats were first calculated in the 60s, not counting Social Security, and Medicare or Education expenditures) all this over the last few decades alone, more than twice the 6.3 Trillion used in all the wars in US HISTORY from the revolution to date. Apparently our taxes are for the promotion of a nanny welfare state, We the People just invested 3.27 Trillion on Corporate Welfare (stimulus bill) and has passed a budget to spend another 10.3 Trillion on individual welfare over the next decade, and all this while declaring class warfare on success in business and capitalism, the engine that drives the economy . Its not rocket science, its PROGRESS(ive) intellect.
