The current birther debate among the right:

Death, taxes, and me voting for anyone against President Obama: these things are certain.

I'm hoping the GOP runs Lassie or Benji against Obama. I'd vote for either one as they'll have a hard time communicating with the rest of our government, be seen much less on television, have no use for teleprompters, and would ultimately do less damage to this country than any other President in the last 50 years. Now THAT'S a platform I could get behind.

The only downside would be the occasional and embarrassing poop on the White House lawn.

Dont forget about this one...............

The difference between the one you posted with the one I posted is the one you posted turned out to be an Internet prank...

‘Punkin’ the Birthers: Priceless’

...whereas the one I posted is an official document, certified from the state of Hawaii.

A subtle distinction, I know, but one clearly lost on you.

See Shiek, told ya. *points up at post #152*
Yes, you did. But what fun would I be missing out on if I didn't poke him with a stick every now and then to watch him twitch?

...actually it came from here Sheik........Kenyan Birth Certificate Generator - Make your own! Invalidating legitimate presidencies since 2009!

....yes certified by a Politician......which carries as much weight as an Obama Promise.

But the alternative would probably just get us involved in two more wars. A sitting Dem prez will always get my vote.

historically, the democrats have always been more prone to engage in warfare.

At least we both agree the one you supplied is a fake.

....yes certified by a Politician......which carries as much weight as an Obama Promise..
You really have no idea what you're talking about. It was certified by Hawaii's state registrar, not a politician. One of his responsibilities is verifying the information on a COLB is accurately copied from the records on file with the state. And it carries enough weight that it can serve as prima facie evidence in a court of law.

I will vote for Obama unless Ron Paul gets the republican nomination but I think we'll see hell freeze over first.

At this point.....

......over two years into Jimmy Carter's second term.......with Gitmo still open, with our troops still in Iraq and Afghanastan, 10% unemployment, 1 in 5 Americans unemployed/underemployed, 1 in 7 Americans living in Poverty, 1 in 7 Americans collecting foodstamps, 1 in 10 Americans facing foreclosure, The Largest Budget in US History, The Largest Budget Deficit in US History, The Largest National Debt in US History.......coming after The Largest Spending Bill in History, a subprime health care bill to nowhere, and The Kenyan Tyrant defying the Will of the American People on numerous occasions......

......do you plan on voting for Obama in 2012?

No. But I also will not vote for the opposition as the 'lesser of two evils'. I will vote, it may just not be for either mainstream candidate.

I will vote for Obama unless Ron Paul gets the republican nomination but I think we'll see hell freeze over first.

How is Obama's policies a close second to Ron Pauls? Your choices seem contradictory.

One more vote for the Kenyan Tyrant, not that the OP actually offered any alternatives.

I agree with most of Paul's policies but know he won't make the nomination. Obama is a closed second as far as policy because I don't believe he is as far left as the right makes him out to be and I trust him if we had a crisis. I'd rather have him than the losers that are vying for the republican nomination that talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Show me a republican that really cares about the deficit, and the middle class and isn't a war hawk and I'll vote for him or her. I'm not seeing it other than Paul.

To say you agree with most of Paul's policies is to say you disagree with most of Obama's policies..........they are opposite ends of the political spectrum.

.

He was ranked THE MOST LIBERAL SENATOR in 2007.......he is further left than Socialist Bernie Sanders. And who wouldnt trust the most inexperienced President in history, without any foreign policy experience and not a shred of military experience, in a time of crisis.

So you care about the deficit, and yet your pondering voting for Obama.....who has spent more than all previous administrations...COMBINED.

You think Obama cares about the Middle Class and the Poor?

...........is this the same Multi-millionaire Barack Obama who has a $12/yr brother living in a hut and ****ing in a bucket, and an aunt sucking the government teet while living in a Boston slum?

Actually, some of Paul's policy positions are much more liberal than Obama's. Compare their policy positions on: Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, military spending, non-interventionism, al Qaeda, our "war on terror", our military bases around the world, etc.

If Paul's social policy positions were as liberal as his foreign policy positions, he would steal all of Obama's liberal base.

They have similar views on the Military, perhaps a few social issues, and nothing else.

Except Paul has a view of government similar to that of the Founders and Forefathers.......which leaves Democrats with a sour taste in their mouth in place of a Government teet.

Their views on foreign policy are not similar at all. Paul's views are a mile to the left of Obama on foreign policy. He thinks our military should be a defensive force pretty much contained within our own borders. None of this nation building stuff though wars that Obama has continued in Afghanistan.

Democrats and Republicans both tend to be more moderate than true conservatives or true liberals, that's why they win elections, but there is no doubt in my mind that liberals prefer Paul's foreign policy to that of Obama's.

Which isnt a leftist view......unless your calling the foreign policy of our Conservative Forefathers and Founders liberal.....

Im as far right as our Forefathers and Founders......and I agree with them and Dr. Paul on Foreign Policy....with few exceptions.

And that is where the agreement between Liberals and Dr. Paul begins and ends.........

I didn't say it was a leftist view, I said it was a liberal view. But let's not get into name calling.

unless your calling the foreign policy of our Conservative Forefathers and Founders liberal.....

I am saying that the liberal view of foreign policy more closely matches that of Ron Paul than Obama's view does.

And that is where the agreement between Liberals and Dr. Paul begins and ends.........

Yep, and that is too bad, or we could join forces and finally have a third party that could beat the Democrats and the Republicans.

Abortion should be left to the states, the government should get out of marriage, the drug war is retarded and should be ended, he is anti-war and supports getting rid of the Cuban embargo. Abortion is the only one out of these that strains support from the left.

You left out a few of the biggies there (as does Paul) as far as I am concerned:

Social safetey net programs
Education
Environment
Health care
Civil rights
Voting rights

Those are obstacles I see to a meeting of the minds of libertarians and liberals. However, I think we should continue to work for, and find, common ground.

Ron Paul and I agree on many issues. I would consider voting for him. Please, refrain from ever speaking for me as you are more than often wrong.

Its not a liberal view.....its shared by many Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians.

We dont need a thrid party.....we simply need to reclaim the Republican party.....which is what the Tea Party is doing. There is a reason Ron Paul runs on the Republican ticket.....
