None of the above. And don't say that's not an option :P

I wouldn't pick any forms of communism. Like capitalism, communism and socialism presume that the world has infinite resources and so all they examine are the means of production.

A resource-based economy is the only thing that can save the human race from long-term decay at this point.

I will give you a hint why you will never figure it out..... Communism is a failed idea. You should just grow up and let Communism rot in it's grave.

Marxist-Leninism is Lenin's tweaking of Marxism, which share many of the same principals, but has the idea of a vanguard party, because anarchy never lasts. My number 1.

Trotskyism is again elaboration on Marxist-Leninism, but he preached of the impossibility of "Socialism is one nation", basically having only one Communist country. He also believed in permanent revolution, revolution until the extinction of capitalism. Number 2

I'll group Moaism and Stalinism together as they are basically the same thing. These are what most people think of when they think of Communism. These are the ones that involve secret police, brutal policies, mass murder, restrictions of rights and other fun (sarcasm) stuff. Not even worthy of ranking.

Please we you see "Communism", don't think of Stalinism and Moaism right away, remember the other three, that aren't really that bad.
You say they all originate from Marxism and the problem with Marism is that it's about a Utopian Society

Straight away you see the foundation is nonexistence. I still cannot understand why Marx is revered for his work.

I am having very mixed feelings at this time. I don't really know what to do. I think I'm having an epiphany right now, my realization that Communism does really suck. But I'm still mulling it about my mind.

So not to get your hopes up, Imma still be a Socialist if I abandon Communism ;P

Odds are you'll change your mind about that too, once you have a decent income, some property, and a couple kids.

He might not. He's Canadian, and if he have an opportunity to live in Europe for a while, he might even become a more confirmed socialist. I have known American conservatives changing their mind about a national health services and unemployment support after living in the UK. I don't mind paying taxes for a less stressed life.

At least it's a step in the right direction. Just keep it up and one day you too will see the light of Capitalism.
