I love the frantic cassandras-the ones who take their posting too seriously be it the google whores who spend hours amassing "facts" to support their opinions to the "because I am ernest my hysterics actually matter"

Better than the people who base their opinions off cable news or talk radio.

Interesting view. Totally disagree with the bolded sentence above. I've learned a great deal in cyberspace -- even on this forum, in particular. If you can honestly say you haven't, well, maybe you already know it all... ;-)
This is a maturity problem.. I'd found that the more I think I know, the less I actually do...
And to category men as conservatives, liberals...this simply works not...men are individuals, women too.

as opposed to what the union says?

to claim someone else has an opinion based on a news show suggests you spend a lot of time watching said shows

I don't watch them: but I can tell when someone gets their information there. And as for Union opinions? I honestly don't know anyone who belongs to a union, so I wouldn't know what the union opinion is (although I could guess). I know a few people who are guild-members (WGA, SAG to be exact), but there much "looser" in comparison to traditional union, although they do set pay scales.

Anyway, with those who watch cable news or listen to talk radio; it's pretty easy to tell, because it becomes not only a shared opinion; it becomes shared terminology. Certain things that comes from this area enter the larger lexicon (Obamacare, for instance). Other terms do not (Feminazi) and it becomes obvious that opinion is being shaped by listening to a certain commentator.
