Which one was it that Roseanne got plowed by the log? THAT made me laugh hysterically.

And then there was one with a baby that smacked the glass wall in the hospital.... admittedly, I laughed at that one too.

Overall though... the commercials were a huge disappointment.

The two minute mini-film for Chrysler with Eminem and the city of Detroit. Advertising can soar to the heights occasionally instead of sinking to the depths of banality.

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I liked the Coke commercial with the two border guards the best.

There were a few good ones this year. You just have to appreciate that the commercials are geared towards men, ages 18 to 35 and expect nothing less than fart and wiener jokes with hot chicks mixed in.

Several were cute (baby/face/glass for one). But agree with you that overall the pool was pretty shallow this year.

The Chevy Camaro adds were the one product that seemed to have high sales generation potential. Personally have driven nothing but trucks for the last 20 years, but suddenly i was wishing for another bay in my garage....

Young Vader was good and cute.

I laughed a fair bit at the first date one.

My favorite may have to be Budweisers "Product Placement" one.

They all sucked. at 3 million a spot, you would think they could afford some talented writers.

I really liked Eminem's Chrysler commercial personally.

Pepsi's commercials were extremely sexist, and none of the commercials about the commercials were the slightest bit creative or original. All of GoDaddy's commercials were, as expected, facepalmingly bad.
