Let's give them Arizona so they can have a panhandle. It would save us a fortune is legal fees.

Do Mexicans want their land back, meaning that what is now the southwestern US would be under the authority of the Mexican government? No.
Do Mexicans want their land back in the sense that they want to come here and live in the US, under the US government? Quite a few of them do, as seen by the numbers of Mexicans streaming across the border.
Now, they do bring their culture with them, no question. There is a Mexican restaurant on every corner around here, for example, and you see signs in Spanish all over.
But, do they want this area to be dominated by Mexico politically? Hardly. Outside of a few radicals like Aztlan, no one wants to annex former Mexican lands under the Mexican flag.
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
Cicero Marcus Tullius
For me the Mandan are not a model. Rather, the Shawnee and Tecumseh are the figurative model.
Edit: Point of order. Illegality is a matter of law. The First People's of North America did not have laws proscribing illegal immigration. Thus, modern illegal immigration into America is sui generis.

Now having said all that? I will say that there are still slaves in the U.S. just not in the worse sense that we are talking about. People are still slaves to the "Man", women are still slaves due to fact they make less, etc. Sure it is not on any kind of level that "real" slaves were but slaves are still here.
And anybody that has a problem with my compairson can suck it.
Edit to say: Noodle: I am fully aware of La Raza and if you knew my posting history you would know that. Do not try to school me on a damn thing. And if you do not wish for folks to call out racism then maybe you need to refrain from starting bait type threads. Just had to say it since you pretty much accused me of being a troll. You best check your self on that and I expect you to say sorry pretty fast!
