Can you add a "This poll is stupid" option?
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

The US won, and any 6th grader who paid attention in history class could tell you the same.

since we still don't have a lunar colony and haven't been back there in 35 freakin years...I'd say no one.

He [Obama] needs to remember what happened back then with the former communist USSR and their victory in that race to space. Yup, they won, but they also incurred so much debt at the time that it resulted in the inevitable collapse of the Soviet Union.

In terms of technological progress I would say that it's undeniable that the Soviet Union broke more records and advanced space flight/travel to a much more significant degree than the Americans.

Then again the Americans put men on the moon - allegedly.
