My home, jk I like Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. I have been there a couple of times. I love thier Coffee with Chicory. I found a vietnamese market locally that sells it so I buy it there. It comes in a tin can like coffee used to back in the day.

Navy ships. It's black, it's thick, and it wakes you up in a hurry. If you get lucky you get a little bit of crunchy stuff that has more caffeine than any 10 energy drinks.

Definitely McDonalds. :vomit:

The best coffee would be from my house.

Tim Hortons! Woot!

85 degrees (a local Taiwanese chain competing with -- and taking a serious dent out of the market share of -- Starbucks) and 7-eleveN have better coffee than any of the options given above...

Ain't that the truth, but the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf makes a good cup of Joe.

Well, it certainly wouldn't be from any kind of franchised chain outlet! The best coffee I remember having recently was from Cafe-Bar Juan in Ugíjar and they use Don Café brand beans and grind them to order for every coffee you request. That's good coffee!

Some crappy looking bar in Bologna, Italy I can't remember the name of.

Just about anywhere in Bella Italia...from Sud Tirol to Napoli... the coffee is great. Haven't had poor coffee there yet.

Other - Columbia.
That's pretty much a fact, they make the best coffee, screw Starbucks.

It's difficult to talk about best when coffee is a taste thing. I find that whatever country I'm in, the style of the coffee is different. In the US the coffee I had tended to be a little weaker than I like it. In Italy it's a little more bitter. Of course there's a lot of internal variation too, but it's all about what you like and what you're used to. I like machine-brewed (not filter, not Cona, not plunger and defo not instant) coffee with just a hint of bitterness and a creamy, mouth-filling consistency. Outside of the big cities, here in Spain you won't find big coffee house chain franchises, and I think that's a good thing.

Where I live, we do have the franchises, but we also have dozens upon dozens of independents. We have coffee houses galore, but also coffee kiosks set up as drive-throughs in every conceivable shopping area and crossroad.

I like the coffee at the one where the gal who owns it always gives my dog a cookie.

Starbucks obviously has good coffee, including exotic blends like Jamaica Blue Mountain... but the cost of it!

For the money, Spinx and Hot Spot have good coffee and related drinks (I like some mocha in mine). At many of them you can even get hot frothed cream to top it off.

RaceTrac original blend. Made for coffee lovers. If you want that tutti-fruity stuff, you can add it, but if you like coffee, it's all you need.

All those are complete **** I don't see why you'd want to compare these or even buy them.
Did you read any of the responses or are you just going off the poll? :doh Almost noone has given in their response, one of the poll options.

Starbucks obviously has good coffee,

Only if you like THAT particular style of coffee. I've never had a cup of coffee from Starbucks that was strong enough, creamy enough (I mean the coffee, not the actual cream) or that felt like value for money.

Vietnamese coffee is the absolute best! It's basically hot coffee mixed with condensed milk. They make it pretty much exclusively with Cafe du Monde, if I'm not mistaken.

Next time I invite you over, I'll make sure to wash all the demitasse and set the espresso machine on stun.

The Turkish sommelier is strictly BYO.
