But more to the point, are you at least a little bit bothered that the child in your scenario has no inkling of what it feels like to be loved by his mother? HIS MOTHER?

Nope I'm not bothered. There are thousands and thousands of kids in this country that have no idea who thier mother is...even more that have no idea who their father is. Its just a fact of life. Why be bothered by something that you cannot change?

You can be yourself all that you want. You do not need to attack someone to get your point across. I encourage you to stick around. Read the threads/posts around here. You may find out that it is quite fun..and can be a challenge at times...to talk to people without having to attack them directly. Of course if you absolutely MUST attack someone you can always post down in the basement. (scroll down farther and you will find a section called "the Basement".)

I see now you did reply. And you said no, you are not bothered that a child grows up without knowing a mother's love, because it is a fact of life for so many.

However what you write here has different connonations than your original question. So in regards to this one I would ask you to clairify for me. Does the "mothers love" HAVE to come from a woman? Or does the child just need love from two parents? (I would warn you to watch how you respond to this as I am setting you up to be proven wrong)

When you say "a mothers love" you assume that it must come from a woman. In fact a "mothers love" is nothing more than a description based on gender. A "mothers love" is nothing more than just, when put simply, the womans love for a child. A man can love a child just as much as a woman can. Does that make the mans love different from the womans? No it isn't. Love for a child is still love for a child no matter the gender.

Now what you may be refering to is the different aspects of what is traditionally known as a "mothers love" vs a "fathers love". Those aspects being of either tenderness (mothers love) or sternness (fathers love). But these aspects of tradition is false as a mother can be just as stern as a father can and visa versa.

To bad though...I was hoping that you would at least give it a shot. Heck you might have been around long enough to meet more people that think like you do.
